Tika Sumpter is an American actress, producer, television host, and model. 

She began her career as a host of The N reality series, Best Friend’s Date (2004-2005), and is also known for her role as Layla Williamson in the ABC daytime soap opera, One Life to Live.

Tika is in a relationship with Nicholas James with whom she is engaged.
