Zooey Jeong was born to the parents Ken Jeong (father) and Tran Ho (mother). 

Ken is an American actor, comedian, producer, writer, television personality, and licensed physician. 

He was born on 13th July 1969 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. 

He was born to South Korean Immigrants parents and was later brought up in North California. 

He was born to his father D.K. Jeong, who was a professor of economics at North Carolina A&T State University.

He is best known for his performance in movies and series such as Knocked Up (2007), Role Models (2008), Furry Vengeance (2010), Ride Along 2 (2016), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), The Hangover film series (2009–2013) and Community (2009–2015). 

He also played the lead character in the ABC sitcom Dr. Ken (2015–2017). 

He is a licensed physician but stopped practicing to pursue his career in acting. 

It was his wife who has influenced him to give up his medical profession and pursue acting.

Zooey's mother, Tran ho, is a Vietnamese-American family physician. 

She was born on 24th February in 1972 in the United States. 

Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer when her daughter was just one year old in the year 2008. She discovered that there were lumps on her breast while she was breastfeeding her kids.

She was diagnosed with Stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer. 

But Tran fought hard and beat cancer and came out as a survivor and cancer-free in the year 2009. 

While she was fighting cancer, her husband came as a big support. 

He was taking care of their children and driving Tran to the hospital and making sure she was ok.

Zooey Jeong has a twin sister named Alexa Jeong. Both sisters shared a great bond and are very close to each other.

How Did Ken Jeong And Tran Ho Meet?

Ken and Tran met while they were working at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. They were colleagues in the hospital. 

Slowly their friendship grew, and they started dating. 

After dating for a while, they took a further step into their relationship and planned on getting married.

The details about where their wedding took place are not available, but they tied the knot in September 2004. 

Now Ken lives happily with his wife and two children in Calabasas, California.

Jimmy congratulated Zooey Jeong’s father

Jimmy congratulated Zooey Jeong’s father, Ken Jeong, on his success for ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, which made over $240 Million.

Ken sarcastically responded it made $242.89 Million and $174 Million domestic, but it just doesn’t matter. 

When Jimmy curiously asked that was he not going to be in the movie to which Ken said that due to scheduling and other projects that may not have worked out but ending his show ‘Dr. Ken’ allowed him to work in that movie. 

He further added that it’s one of the proudest projects he has ever worked on.

They then talked about ‘The Masked Singer.’ Ken explained that it was a number one show in Korea and his mother was a huge fan of the show, so when it was offered to him as one of the panelists, his mother insisted on him to do the show. 

Jimmy appreciated his work in his stand-up special, which is streaming on Netflix called ‘You Complete Me Ho,’ and was surprised to know that it was his wife’s idea to name the special. 

According to Ken, it’s a love letter dedicated to his wife, and his idea was to name it ‘The First Date’ because that was ‘The Ice House’ in Pasadena, the club where he performed, and that was the first club his wife saw him perform.

Ken wrote an open letter to his daughters on Father’s Day. He talked about the qualities he admires in them the most and his favorite time of the day with them. 

Ken considered them and his wife as his life’s most precious gifts. In an interview with ‘Life of Dad,’ Ken revealed that his twins enjoy watching ‘Community.’ 

Although he is very selective about which episode they could watch. He appreciates that they love the show’s humor, even if it’s not coming from him.

Twins blocked their father on Social media?

Zooey's dad virtually did an interview with Ellen on her show. During the conversation, the host showed Ken's fans had tattooed his face on their bodies, including arms, calf, and foot. 

Ken says he doesn't like tattoos made on calves, which makes him angry, and shares he loves at the front of his legs. 

That's just the way he rolls; Ken added. After seeing one of his fans tattooed at foot, Ken said that's where he belongs naturally. 

He also told his twin daughters who are in their teenage years, doesn't think of him as cool. Ken said that if you are a comedian and have teenage daughters, then at this point in time, they will mute you on Twitter along with blocking on Instagram. 

Ken confronted he is at that stage in time with his daughters. Ken also spoke their kids watch his shows but for other aspects of the shows. 

Ken even revealed about his show Community, where his daughters asked if he was okay to like other parts more than their dad? Lastly, he also showed his cute dog named Mocha. 

Ken's connection with comedy began with a high school mock beauty pageant?

No doubt, Ken was very good at academics from the beginning. Before graduation, young Ken participated in several extra-curricular activities: playing violin in the orchestra, engaging in the Quiz Bowl team, actively participating in student council, and so on. 

Not only this, but Mr. Jeong has also been involved at a mock male beauty pageant to be the next Mr. Buccaneer during his high school days. 

He wore swim trunks in a swimsuit competition. Ken confirmed that was the period where he identified his own comedy bug.  

He was giving poses like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also got applauded for a standing ovation. Ken then performed Lionel Richie's song and on piano performing The Commodores Three times a Lady.
