About her ex-husband
He was born in Manhattan, New York. His mother was from Wilson, North Carolina.
His mother ran away at the age of 16 from North Carolina to New York and ended up meeting James Brown, with whom she later co-wrote Brown's hit "It's a Man's World."
He was raised by his maternal grandparents.
He has seven half-brothers and a half-sister from his mother's different relationships, and all of them are one year apart from one another.
When they reached three years old, she gave them to her parents in North Carolina, where they had a farm. So, he and his siblings were raised on a farm.
He was caught by an acting bug from the day he could speak.
He recalled saying to his mom that he was not going to buy her anything when he became a movie star after she spanked him.
He was probably three or four years old at the time. He said he knew without a doubt that he would be where he is today.
Almost every single person he ran into called him crazy when he showed interest in an acting career. They always told him that it was impossible.
They said to him that he was North Carolina, he was black, poor, skinny, and whatnot, but he never stopped dreaming that is the reason he is here today.
Growing up to this day, he never caught a cold or flu. He had not been sick at all. The only time he became sick was in 30 years.
He became ill twice, and that was both with Corona Virus. But he did not even know he had.
His was nicknamed "Hollywood Nune" Nune was short for Nunez. He had a jean jacket where he wrote "Hollywood" on the back of it with a magic marker.
After graduating from high school, he got a job at Tobacco Warehouse.
When he got his first cheque, the only thought that came to his mind was that it was an opportunity for him to get to Hollywood.
He then said he was quitting.
They told him there was a week left for a whole cheque, but he was so eager that he didn't want to wait because he knew if he changed his mind, then he was going to get stuck there.
He then went home, made three bologna sandwiches, and wrote a note saying that he was running away to Hollywood.
The first role he ever got was a lead in a commercial. He got a role after a man he met on a bus told him about the cattle call audition.
The same person handed him his resume. He then wrote his name off and put his name on it.
He gave the audition and landed a lead role. In the next 47 auditions, he landed 42.
