Waliyha got married to her partner, Junaid Khan, on December 12, 2020.

The ceremony was held at Safaa’s back garden in the presence of 40 guests. At that time, the wedding ceremony could be attended by  15 people only due to COVID regulations. 

Since there were more people than specified, the neighbors called the police because of a breach of the COVID regulations. 

The relatives of the Malik family had to pay fines. 

Another reason for the wedding for being in the news was really surprising. Waliyha’s father did not attend her big day. 

The reason behind this was his concern over his daughter for marrying an ex-convict who was in jail for five years in charge of carjacking.

In an interview with Elle India, he revealed that his favorite Bollywood movie is “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,” as he watched this movie the most during his childhood. He also said that “Chaiyya Chaiyya” is his favorite Bollywood song.

Zayn Malik on fatherhood 

Zayn is now a father of his daughter Khai Hadid Malik whom he welcomed with his long-term girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, in September 2020. 

However, the couple is no longer together but are good parents as they co-parent, a family friend of Gigi Hadid confirmed to People. 

According to the sources, the couple called it quits in October 2021, following an alleged family dispute between Zayn and Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. 

The same month TMZ reported that Yolanda was considering filing a police report against Zayn for striking her as per the unknown sources. 

Still, Zayn denied the false allegation she put on him of striking her.

During an interview with iHeartRadio’s Valentine in the morning, Zayn gave insight into his life as a new dad and shared what he learned since welcoming her into this world and in his life. 

He said he had a relatively easy time adjusting to life as a dad. 

Before her birth, he lived a life that was mostly about him, and now since becoming a father, he just loves spending his time with her, hanging out with her, and just doing relaxing chill kinds of stuff and all, he added.

The father and daughter usually spend their days watching Kid’s show, Netflix, nursery rhymes, lullabies, etc. 

What surprises him the most is that though it’s a different pace of life, it’s been really easy to adjust to it. 

Besides that, he enjoys singing to his daughter. And it’s amazing to hear the sort of sound she sometimes makes while he will be singing, he said.

Gushing about his little girl Khai, he said she is an amazing baby, and the family has easily settled into their new life. 

He recalled people saying that it’s a big adjustment and it’s going to be a massive change and stuff like that before the birth of his daughter. 

It’s nothing like that, as it’s been easy for him and Gigi to ease into it, and their daughter made them easy sleeping well and drinking her milk. 

It’s just feeding and changing diapers at the moment, and he is enjoying it for sure.
