Wilson James Rodriguez Bedolla

Wilson James Rodriguez Bedolla was the football player who used to play for the Cucuta and Colombian National Team. 

He is well-known as the father of famous Colombian footballer, James Rodriguez, who used to be an attacking midfielder of the Spanish club, Real Madrid but now playing for Bayern Munich.

Passionate James started playing and training for football since he was five. 

In amid of continuing his passion for football, James also carried on his studies and completed engineering from the Universidad Nacional Abierta.

Broken married life

Wilson was married to Maria Del Pilar Rubio. But the married life of Wilson did not last for long. 

After the separation, Maria took the responsibility of James and helped him to enhance his football skills.  

Maria got married again to Juan Carlos Restrepo. However, there is not any information on either Wilson get married again or not.

Wilson has not disclosed any information regarding his wedding. However, his son James held his wedding in his late teens with Daniela Ospina on December 24, 2010. 

The couple started dating since 2008, when his fellow teammate, David Ospina, who is also the brother of Daniela, introduced them to each other. 

At that time, James was only 16 years of age. The couple kept their wedding nuptials private in Medellin, Columbia, and exchanges their wedding vows in front of their closed ones. 

Two years after their wedding, they were blessed with a wonderful daughter, Salome Rodriguez Ospina. 

Separation from wife

Like Wilson, his son also split from his beautiful wife, Daniela, a volleyball player. The couple even used to have the same number 'ten' as their jersey number. 

But unfortunately, the couple decided to break their six and half year of marriage and got divorced in on July 27, 2017. 

After separation from his first wife, James found a new love to cherish his life. Now he is living together with Shannon de Lima, who is a Venezuelan model. 

Since 2018 he started dating Shannon, who is also a single mother of 13 -year -old son with her ex-husband Manuel Sosa, who is also a Venezuelan actor. 

Children

James is the only child of Wilson, who once suffered from severe stutter in his early days. He even had to go for therapy for the treatment. 

Nevertheless, he is over from that now. Additionally, Wilson is also blessed with two wonderful grandchildren.
