Weston legally changed his last name to Coppola in 2018, for which he paid $425 for the filing fee. 

He did the same thing as his father, who changed his last name from Coppola to Cage to avoid nepotism tag from his uncle Francis Ford Coppola, a legendry director. But Weston changed his last name back to Coppola.
