Wanda Webster is the mother of American singer, rapper, and record producer, Travis Scott. 

She works for the AT$T and Apple Store. Scott was born Jacques Bermon Webster II.

She is married to her husband Jacques Webster, a soul musician who also ran his own advertising business. 

Scott spent his early childhood with his grandmother in South Park, Houston. 

He lived in a neighborhood notorious for its criminal activities where he witnessed mad bums and crazy spazzing out motherf*ckers and people looking weird, hungry, and grimy.

According to him, his father used to rip his power out, making beats die off. He went to the extent of shutting off the power in his room.

Mother of three

Besides Scott, she has two more kids, a son Joshua and a daughter Jordan who are twins. 

Her daughter Joshua achieved a milestone by graduating from Howard University in 2022. 

To celebrate her big day, Scott attended the ceremony just before taking the stage in Florida in May last year.

Her son opted to go with his stage name instead of his birth name, but how did that name come from? 

In an interview with Grantland, Scott said his stage name is an ode to his favorite uncle, whose name was Travis. 

He said his uncle always made good decisions, good business decisions, and he looked up to him growing up. 

Also, he took his last name from his uncle’s nickname. His uncle’s nickname was Scott.

Scott kept taking money from her despite dropping out of college

Scott graduated from high school at the age of 17. He then went on to study at The University of Texas before dropping out two years later at the age of 19. 

Webster kept sending money thinking he was at college, but he had already dropped out from his college and had been paving his path to a musical career. 

Scott, during an interview with ESPN, admitted to taking money from Webster even after dropping out from college. 

He said his mom used to send him money every two weeks for books, food, and rent, but he used to spend that money on gas, taxis, plane tickets, and all. 

She later caught him and cut him off. She was so furious that she didn't talk to him for three months, he said. 

He felt he was not wrong because he was not spending that money on drugs but on the things that were going to take him to the level where he is now. 

Today, she goes to his every concert, he added.

She has been on crutches her whole life

Webster has been on crutches her whole life because of the stroke she suffered. 

Scott, in an interview with Rolling Stone, said that she rode her bike into a ditch of something crazy when she was young. 

He said he had never seen his mother’s bend leg, but despite that, she looked after him and his siblings, which is the reason he moves the way he moves, and nothing stops him.
