Vikki, the wife of Mike, had already left this world. She passed away in 2009. It's been said that the reason behind her death might be the natural cause.

They were obviously in their tracksuit when they were at the college while Mike was present because of his coaching at the University named Weber State located in Ogden, Utah.

Well, Mike has mentioned his father, stating that he had learned many things from him. Bill Zimmer (father) was the coach in the two fields, i.e., Football and Wrestling. 

Being a coach's son, he got to learn many things about football, but despite it, what other thing he mentioned? Son of Bill says that he had known the importance of education. 

Though his father passed away in 2015, Mike is attempting take forward his father legacy because the man had spent his entire 35 years at a High school named Lockport Township. 

He recalled his past days where his dad would involve players for a very long time at practice. The motive for him was to get the opportunity of a scholarship to the athletes.

Together with Mike, Vikki had three children. Adam, Corri, and Marki, where Adam was born first, is 37 years old, making Corri Zimmer and Marki Zimmer, 28 and 25 in age. 

Zimmer launched the foundation named The Mike Zimmer Foundation, where his daughter Corri was the main for its launch and development. 

She had handled it gracefully because the woman had gotten support from many people starting from the launch and for its continuity. 

Mike mentioned that he had the involvement of whole family members where they can contribute their ideas for the betterment of the foundation.
