She is a married woman. Her husband's name is Besnik Sahatciu. He owns a pub. The couple got married on 19 May 1988.

She is Catholic, and her husband is a nominal Muslim. They both are Albanian. They are still together and spending their blissful married life together.

They have three children together.

Being A Refugee

Her family fled from their home country Kosova before war broke out in the former Yugoslavia. 

They relocated to London, and that was in 1991. Her children were taken from her and put in a care home because they were refugees at that time.

In an interview, she said that it was tough to leave their own home country where they had a life. She also added that she couldn’t speak English at that time.

Later the couple relocated themselves out of refugee camp, and they started their new life with their children.

Rita Ora full name Rita Sahatciu Ora was born on 26 November 1990 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia. She is well known after appearing on DJ Fresh’s single ‘Hot Right Now.’

She was only one year when her family fled from their country due to the political crisis. She was raised with her siblings in Notting Hill in West London. 

She has a keen interest in singing from her young age.

Her Battle With Cancer

She was only 39 years old when she knew that she had breast cancer. At that young age, she had to suffer a lot. 

Her treatment was very intense. She was given chemotherapy and radiotherapy in her treatment. 

Her children were small at that time. 

Later, she recovered from cancer, and currently, she is enjoying her healthy life now.
