Vanessa and Brian met back in 1999 at the set of Beverly Hills. They started dating, and by July 2001, they were engaged. 

In 2002, they had a son named Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green. However, in 2003, they canceled their wedding and went on their way. 

The former pair had a court battle for full custody of their son. Brian even sued his biological mother for over $200,000 he lent her in 2012. 

It's said that the case was closed. However, Brian thought to cut off his son Kassius during 2013 and didn't see Kassius for five years straight. 

Vanessa later on comment wrote about the devastating experience her son went through. 

Further adding, his son Kass is now all grown up and would speak the truth on the court case and how his dad had thrown him out for numerous years.
