Vale Guthrie Feldman is the celebrity daughter of an American broadcast journalist and attorney named Savannah Guthrie. Vale is still very young and lives with her parents as she is still a toddler.

Michael and Savannah first met when Savannah was in her vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Michael happened to be there.

Savannah had taken maternity leave like any woman who was about to give birth, but she returned early to her work as Today's producers begged her to return to work because her absence in the show was causing a lot of loss for the company.

Savannah lost her father at a young age which was a great loss for her. She said that the loss of her father felt like a betrayal, and she felt that she still need him. 

She also included that she was very sad and thought how could God do that and take a good man who was still just in his forties. It was a very low point in her life.
