Tracy Austin

Tracy Austin is a former American World No.1 tennis player. She was born on December 12, 1962.

Family 

Tracy was born and brought up into a family that is closely related to Tennis. 

She was born to parents George Austin and Jeanne Austin. She is American by nationality. 

Tracy had always shown interest in tennis games since her childhood. She used to play tennis when she was in school. 

She became a professional tennis player in the year 1978, and in the same month, she won her single professional title by defeating Bette stove in the final.

All her siblings are professional tennis players. 

Tracy's older sister Pam, Jeff, and Jhon, both the brothers choose Tennis as their career. 

Her brother Jeff Dough is married to Denise Austin, who is a fitness Author. 

Tracy Austin was then neighbor of Colonel Keith Lindell, who was accountable for the training of the original seven Project Mercury astronauts.

Tracy Austin got married to her boyfriend, Scott Holt.

On the Occasion of her son’s graduation, she posted several pictures along with family members on her Instagram. 

But that one picture caught attention where her son (Sean) was seen clicked with this girl Bella Martinez.  

Since both of their Instagram accounts is in the private mode, we don’t know if they are dating or are just friends.

Accident

Tracy Austin was making her comeback into Tennis when this tragedy took place in her life. 

That incident changed everything for her in life. 

It was the date of August 3, 1989, when she got into an accident when she was going to get physical therapy for her foot as she was injured while playing Tennis. 

Still, when she took a left turn in Millburn, New Jersey, Tracy got hit by a van coming from the opposite direction. 

Her car got slammed into the driver's side that caused her a sprained back, knee severely injured, and bruised spleen as well. 

Even now, she gets emotional when she thinks about the incident that happened many years ago. 

It was a tough time for her family, as well.

She was taken to the hospital soon after the incident happened. 

She got admitted to Overlook hospital in Summit, New Jersey. 

After that incident, she knew somewhere that she would never be the same again. 

However, she never lost hope and fought with it like a true warrior.

After that incident, she again made a comeback in Tennis around 1993 to 1994, but she did not become successful as before. 

And in 1994, she announced her retirement. She then became a prominent tennis commentator.

Tracy is estimated to have a net worth of 8 Million Dollars, which is a good amount of wealth for a person to have. 

She gained her income from being one of the most successful tennis players in the world. 

Also, she has worked as a tennis commentator as well. She was no tennis player in 1980. 

She is now engaged in a local charity tennis tournament called Tracy Austin Doubles Tournament.
