Taylor Mayne Pearl Brooks is famous as the eldest daughter of American country singer and songwriter Garth Brooks. 

Her mother, Sandy Mahl, is a songwriter. Taylor graduated from Vanderbilt University with a master's degree in theological studies.

Her parents were college sweethearts

Her parents, Garth and Sandy, were college sweethearts as they both attended Oklahoma University.

Following their graduation, both moved to Nashville to pursue their musical career, where Sandy played a pivotal part. 

Garth credited her in two of his songs from his first album. They got married in 1986. 

However, after more than a decade of their marriage, they decided to part ways. They announced their separation in 1999. Their divorce was finalized in 2001. 

In a 2019 documentary, Garth Brooks: The Road I Am In, Sandy shared that Garth was gone 8 to 10 weeks at a time and spent his supposed free time at parties, events, and shows.

Talking about Allie following in his footsteps and if she will be compared to him, he said she is so far ahead of anywhere where he was at his age, so he doesn't think she will be compared to him.

Her father remarried fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood following his divorce 

Garth remarried his long-time friend and musical partner, Trisha Yearwood, in 2005. 

Because they were both married, they remained friends for half of their careers. 

Following their divorces from their respective partners, Garth from his first wife Sandy and Trisha from her second husband Robert Reynolds, they started dating around 2000 before Garth finally popped the question, going down on one knee in front of 7,000 people in Bakersfield, California.

While appearing on Kelly Clarkson's show, he got emotional while opening up about what he is most grateful for in life, his wife, Trisha Yearwood. 

"I found her in a past life, I will find her in the next," he said. 

He also expressed that he would love for his girls to be around him, and he would love his queen to be around him on the day he takes his last breath on this planet.
