Tamara lost her parents within hours

Tamara was born to her parents, Piero and Giovanna. Her parents were married for over 50 years.

On September 10, 2016, the devastating news surfaced that Tamara lost both her parents within hours on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

Her father Piero lost his life to a heart attack in the afternoon followed by her mother Giovanna losing her life in the evening.

The family mourned the loss and Luciano was also not present on the training session the next day i.e., Friday, September 11 to be there for his family.

From meeting as a salesperson to being married for over three decades

Tamara and Luciano met in the late 1980s when he was playing for Spezia.

Tamara used to sell subscriptions to a newspaper called L'Unita from door to door.

One day Tamara ended up at Luciano's door and he was mesmerized by her and bought the subscription.

He wanted to ask her out on a date but didn’t have the courage to do so. He bought the subscription to the newspaper 19 times just so he could meet her.

For the 20th time, he mustered the courage to ask her out.

Tamara was also interested in Luciano, so she agreed to go on a date with him and they soon got into a serious relationship.

Tamara and Luciano took no time to exchange the wedding vows and have been happily married for more than three decades.

They are blessed with three children. Tamara and Luciano own a farm in Tuscany, on a ridge outside Montaione.

Tamara took over the responsibility of the farm and their children while her husband was away for his work.

Luciano talked about his family in an interview. He said,

There, in the gulf of poets, I met my splendid Tamara, mother of my sensitive beast Samuele, of my authoritarian guitarist Federico, and of Princess Matilde magnificent girl of 1 year who forced everyone to keep up with the times! Seeing Samu and Chicco love Matilde is a true triumph.

What are their children doing?

Tamara and Luciano are parents of three children. They welcomed their first child, a son, in 1992 and named him Samuele Spalletti.

After three years, they gave birth to their second child, also a son, in 1995 and named him Federico Spalletti. Federico is known by his nickname Chicco.

Their third child, only daughter, was born in October 2011 and they named her Matilde Spalletti.

Their eldest son, Samuele, graduated from LUISS in Rome with a Master's degree in law, banking, finance, corporate, and securities in 2019 with top marks.

According to the source, he provided consultation to his father while he was negotiating with the president of Nepoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis.

He is currently working as a trainee lawyer.

Their second son, Federico aka Chicco, followed in his father's footsteps and is working as a football talent scout. He is also an authoritarian guitarist.

Their only daughter Matilde is still very young and is attending school.

On January 23, 2018, Tamara and Luciano were photographed in Milan, Italy, spending the afternoon in the city center for a few hours as they pick their daughter from school.
