Talita Roberta Pereira

Talita Roberta Pereira is famously known as the wife of UFC fighter Charles Oliveira. 

He is from Brazil and is an accomplished mixed martial artist and jiu-jitsu practitioner. 

Talita is from Guaruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a Jiu-jitsu practitioner like her husband. She completed her high schooling at Unaerp Guaruja High school. 

She is a gym trainer at Centro de Treinamento Charles Oliveira Gold Team and is also said to be working in Hospital Case de Saude Guaruja. 

She has over six thousand Instagram followers, and she posts mostly about her family.

Charles Oliveira's early life 

Charles was born in Guaruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a poor family. They lived in a slum of Vicente de Carvalho, in a tourist town, and had a very difficult life.  

He was firstly interested in becoming a professional football player and started playing football from a very early age. 

Later he was diagnosed with Rheumatic fever and Heart murmur, which severely affected his ankle. 

He had to endure a lot of pain in his ankle and body, sometimes to the extent that he couldn't move. His medic told him he could be paraplegic. 

Fortunately, he got through that and achieved a lot in his life. However, he got introduced to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu through his Neighbor. 

He began his training at twelve. His humble beginning has brought him very forward in his career. 

Relationship 

Charles and Talita had known each other for a long time. He announced his marriage after winning a column on 15th February.

He said that Talita had been with her since day one and he was going to marry her. They tied the wedding knot on 15th March 2014.

They have a wonderful daughter Tayla Oliveira who was born in April 2017. 

She also has an Instagram page run by her parents named @taylasoliveira and has over twelve thousand followers. 

They are a lovely family who shares utmost love and compassion for each other.

Career

He competed in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the current champion. 

He holds the fifth position in UFC men's pound for pound ranking.  He has also won Submission of the Night and Fight of the Night each three times. 

Out of forty-one matches, he was part of, he won 32 of them and lost only 8 of them. 

He holds a lot of UFC records, among which most notable are the most Submission wins in the history of UFC at 15 and most finishes at 18.

Do Bronx

Charles is known by the name Do Bronx. Bronx was slang used for favela (Slums), and he was sometimes referred to as the guy from Bronx. 

The first gym he joined was also named Bronx. This made him call himself Charles do Bronx. 

The main reason Charles doesn’t want to live and get trained in the United States

Charles is residing in Brazil now. But, when he was asked, wouldn’t it be easier to live abroad? 

Charles said he had been invited numerous times to settle abroad. But he prefers where he is living now, i.e., Brazil. 

He said he got his team here and has gotten back all his training support. Other than that, his whole family is also here. 

Charles elaborated on how he likes being in Brazil as he feels the warmth of the people, which connects affection from the people during the training. 

Charles also said how he got trained by a whole bunch of people for the fight. 

He mentioned training with Niquette, Elvis, Bocao, and Breno, whom he resembles as the strong guys. Not only this but he also was trained by Alan and many others. 

Charles praised how they focus 200% on emulating what Chandler actually does in his fights. 

He claimed how in the last, they also gave him feedback and motivation, stating he got to do this and that and improve in this sector. 

Charles stated that if he was in the US, the guys there would just train and leave. He recalls living in Houston, Texas, New Jersey, etc. 

So, he is aware of what he is talking about. He mentioned the warmth he gets there and also claimed names like Chute Box Diego Lima, who embraced him. 

Like a son, Lima also embraced him and took the name of Macaco Gold Team and Laercio supported him and his nutritionist. 

He said how they had created a structured team there. He pointed out that each and every human is responsible for a piece. 

Charles smiled and said he hits, and they felt and claimed it was a context. 

He also admitted he doesn’t have any obstacles in cutting his weight as he has got a great nutritionist named Victor. 

When asked if he feels comfortable being a striker to which, he mentioned saying he feels more complete currently.

Net worth

Charles came from a humble background and struggled to get into this position. Today he is one of the most celebrated fighters and is top of his division. 

He gets a decent paycheque and reportedly earns a good sum of money altogether.
