Taimi Li

Taimi Li is the daughter of great Chinese- Singaporean film actor and martial artist Jet Li.

Taimi's mother, Huang Qiuyan, is a former Chinese actress. 

She also has a sister, whose name is Si Li. 

The word Taimi comes from Finnish origin, which means "sapling or young tree."

Taimi's parents divorced

Taimi's parents, Jet Li and Qiuyan got married in 1987. 

Unfortunately, things didn't go well between the former couple, and they got divorced in 1990. 

The couple was together for only three years and had two beautiful children Taimi Li and Si Li.

Her father's health issue

Jet has suffered from hyperthyroidism and has a spinal problem due to tough movie making.

Was offered for a bodyguard job?

Li and his Chinese national Wushu team were invited to put on the show for Richard Nixon in the White House. 

At that time, Richard’s stay would come to an end after finding out that the man was involved in the Watergate scandal.

To answer the president’s job offer, young Li stated he doesn’t want to protect any people as he continued saying that once he grows up, the foremost thing he desires is to defend his one billion Chinese countrymen. 

No doubt, this reply from him made everyone stunned. In the same room was Henry Kissinger, a Secretary of State. 

Henry then said that young Li spoke like a diplomat at such a young age. In Li’s view, the U.S. government had bugged his hotel room while he visited the U.S. for the first time. 

It’s been stated that the Nixon administration had spied on them using hidden mics as the government of China was feeling wary of sending the Wushu team to America. 

It’s basically that they might create a situation to extract the information from the Wushu team, whether it be their hotel rooms. Li also accepted the fact as he recalled then he wanted to see if they really bugged or not. 

So, he went in front of the mirror and said out loud, seeing in the mirror that he liked some chocolates and ice cream. 

To his surprise, the other day, on his table were the chocolates, ice cream, and bananas.
