Steve Jordison is the father of late Joey Jordison, a famous American musician and songwriter who is best known for being the drummer of one of the great metal bands, Slipknot, and the guitarist for the horror punk band named Murderdolls. 

Steve hails from the United States, and his nationality is American.

An American famous metal band, Slipknot's drummer was found dead at 46 peacefully in his sleep on 26th of July, 2021. 

It is still unknown what causes his death, but it was said that he was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, which is a form of multiple sclerosis that lost power in his legs. 

He died just after his band released a new collaboration with the famous band Metallica. His parents and friends express their heartfelt condolences.

Joey was one of the founding members of the band Slipknot as he was the drummer of the band, and together with his teammate, he formed the band in 1995.

After being in the band for 20 years, the band decided to fire him. Jordison said that he was fired over a stupid email that said he was out of the band which he created by working all his life. 

There was no meeting or anything from the management team. Later, his bandmates got confused over his medical problem as he was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis to the substance abuse issue.

Jordison was in a relationship with his girlfriend Amanda Victoria before his death. 

They haven’t revealed their relationship in public, but he was seen posting a wish to Amanda on social media on the day of Christmas Eve on the 24th of December. 

He tagged Amanda saying from our home to you and yours in the post, revealing that he was in a relationship with her. 

He was neither married nor had any children. Of course, he had dated many women before but never married or had a child with them.
