During an interview with People back in 2018, Banderas opened up about his relationship with his ex-wife Melanie. 

He said that even if they are divorced, she is a part of the family and that he loves her until the day he dies. 

They have been in contact all these years and think they have managed their separation elegantly, which, according to him, their kids are also enjoying who are their priority.
