Stefan Tarkovic is the Slovak football manager who is currently the manager of Slovakia. A few weeks after his appointment, he guided Slovakia to the great victory by taking them to Euro 2020.
He became the interim Slovakia coach replacing Pavel Hapal after having previously served as an assistant coach for the team.
In the opening match at Euro 2020, the team enjoyed a stunning 2-1 victory over Poland and headed for their second group E match against Sweden on 18 June.

Because of that, he decided to begin his coaching journey. Besides Slovakia, he previously managed Zilina, Tatran Presov, and Kosice.

Infected with COVID for 31 long days
Stefan was tested positive for the Coronavirus that lasted for 31 long days. Stefan admitted to having a mild symptom that included a fever, headache, and cold and losing his sense of taste and smell after 14 days.
To his surprise, his wife, who was with him the whole time, was not infected.
Defender and a team member tested positive ahead of the Euro championship
Stefan announced defender Denis Vavro and a team member of the coaching staff were tested positive for Coronavirus.
This happened ahead of the European championship match against Sweden. According to him, Vavro was infected with no symptoms.
Vavro and a coaching staff member whose name is not mentioned are the first to have tested positive for Coronavirus during the tournament.
