Snow Lopes is famous as the adopted daughter of Late American rapper and singer Lisa Lopes better known by her stage name "Left Eye."

Her mother burned down a $2m mansion of her then-boyfriend

Lisa was in an on-and-off relationship with former American football wide receiver Andre Rison from 1993 to 2001. 

The relationship was toxic and tumultuous. In 1994, Lisa got arrested and charged with first-degree arson after she burned down the $2m mansion of Rison. 

Lisa, in an interview, said it was an accident as she set fire to Rison's sneakers in a bathtub which ultimately spread to the mansion. 

She said Rison had hit her after a night out, and she, out of rage, set fire to his sneakers to get back at him. 

Since it was just an accident, she had a positive outlook even though she was getting handcuffed. 

She didn’t see herself going the prison for 20 years because of the accident. 

Six months later, she was sentenced to five-year probation, and the court ordered alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

Rison, during an interview, said he slapped her only once when she slapped him more than 50 times but painted him as abusive. 

He said his trophies, his awards, and other valuable things got burnt in a fire. 

He also said it didn't take his whole life, explaining that he doesn’t keep his super bowl trophies in his home and other trophies because he has always been taught that if you keep looking at it, you will never get another one. 

Snow was eight years old when she got adopted

Lisa found her biological mother during the time when Lisa was serving five-year probation and therapy at a halfway house. 

It was at that time she met Snow’s biological mother and befriended her, who, at the time, was struggling. She subsequently adopted Snow.

She also has an elder adoptive brother

Snow also has an elder brother whom her mother adopted. He was adopted ten years before she was adopted. His name is Jamal Lopes.

Her mother died too early

Her mother tragically passed away in a car accident in La Ceiba, Honduras, on the 25th of April, 2002. She was just 30 at the time. 

According to her spokesman, Jay Marose, Lisa was at the wheel of a rented Mitsubishi Pajero and lost control. 

As per the police, it veered off the road and turned over several times, causing her the “fracture of the base of the cranium” and “open cerebral trauma that ultimately claimed her life.

The documentary film about Lisa's spiritual journey was in progress, so there were seven passengers, including her sister Raina and brother Ronald, three members of a rhythm-and-blues group, "Egypt," and two video producers. 

All of them were rushed to a hospital in La Ceiba. Lisa was the only one to get brutally hurt and die.

She revealed spirit was chasing her in her last days

Lisa confessed to being followed by a bad spirit in her last days. 

She had been a passenger in a car accident that resulted in the death of a 10-year-old boy named Bayron Isual Fauntes two weeks before her death. 

Despite being her mistake, she paid all the medical and funeral bills of the boy and also provided the family with around $925 extra costs. 

Following the death of a boy, the only thing that kept hovering over her head was that the spirit had mistakenly killed the boy instead of her, as they bore the same last name. 

In her documentary “The Last Days of Left Eye,” she said that there were times she thought she was going to die. 

In the documentary, she is seen telling her friend that she had a really frightening dream that night when she woke up. 

There were times she thought she was going to die. She had premonitions and dreams.
