Simon Dale

Simon Dale was a former radio announcer at kiss 100 in London. He is the son of celebrity Alan Dale.

Father

His father Alan Dale is a New Zealand born actor. 

Alan was earlier in sport, and after retiring, he tried a number of occupations before deciding to do acting. 

He was twenty-seven years old when he chooses to become a professional actor. 

At that time in New Zealand, there were not many opportunities for him, so he moved to Australia. 

Then he got a chance to play Dr. John Forest in 'The Young Doctors.'

Later in 1985, he played a role of Jim Robinson in Neighbors Series for long eight years. 

After that, he had fallen out with his producers, and he left that. 

After this incident, he struggled to find a different role, and he decided to move to the United States in the year 2000. 

Where his career revitalized, Alan had a different type of role offered there.  

But he began to remain busier with work when he was becoming part of ER (American medical drama series), he played the role of AI Patterson for four episodes as South African.

Parents

But it was said that his father Alan was in a relationship with Claire before marrying her. 

After dating, the couple got married in 1968. The couple had two sons named Simon Dale and Matthew Dale. 

Both of his sons work in the Entertainment industry. His son Matthew is a writer, filmmaker, and actor.  

However, his parent's relationship didn't work out, and the couple ended up having a divorce with each other in the year 1979. 

During that time, his father Alan used to live in Auckland, and later after divorced, he started to live with his sons in Sydney.

He was in thirty-nine years old when he met Tracey Pearson, who was only twenty-one years old. 

The age gap between them was of 18 years, which is huge. 

But Alan Dale described it as 

"the most appropriate relationship I've ever had." 

Despite that much age gap, love between them win, and the couple ended up getting married to each other on April 8, 1990. 

Tracey Pearson won the title of Miss Australia in 1986. They met each other at the 1986 Australian Grand Prix.  

The power couple had two sons together. They are Daniel and Nick Dale. 

Currently, the couple is residing in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, California. 

The couple also owns a property in Sydney before moving to the United States. 

Alan Dale sold his home in New Zealand in the year 2011 for $1.25 Million. 

Alan Dale gets inspiration from Gene Hackman to perform better. He follows the rule, "Never, never, never give up."

When Alan was asked about this child getting into acting, he said he was very reluctant about it and mentioned that he would not allow his boys to get into acting like children as there is 50% death rate for kids who become child stars and he won't risk it at any cost.
