Scott is the son of Archie Dean Swift Jr. and Rose Baldi (Douglas) Swift.  

He has two siblings. They are Archie Dean Swift and Douglas Swift.

Scott got married to Andrea Gardner Finlay, aka Andrea Swift, on February 20, 1988.
