Sarah Arnold is the celebrity wife of an Australian association football manager and former player, Graham Arnold. Sarah came to the limelight after her marriage to Graham.
Graham looks up to heaven for help in big moments from his beloved late parents.
On the day of the final World Cup qualifier against Peru, Graham looked up in the sky at the time of the national anthem because he was seeking help from his beloved late parents, Faye and Barry.
During an interview with News Corp, Graham said he was looking up in the sky at the time of the national anthem.
He was saying to his mom and dad to help that night. He added to say that he knew that his parents were there for him and looking at him. In the big moments, they were there to help him.
Graham was born and raised in southern Sydney alongside his brother Colin. The family survived with little money.
They resided in the converted garage underneath his grandmother’s house for 23 years.
When Graham was just 25, his father passed away, and his brother Colin became the father figure whom Graham still considers his rock.
According to Graham, his brother Colin is one of those people that cares about everyone else first and himself last.
And that is how he cares for him. He says he doesn’t know a nicer person in life and everyone who meets him says the same.
His mom tragically died in 1983 after a long battle with breast cancer. After the death of his mother, he was devastated and completely went off the rails for almost a year.
He gave up football, cricket, and everything and was partying non-stop. But his mom’s last words to him, which he took by heart, inspired him to follow his career path.
He said about a day or two before she died, she woke up and looked at him and said,
“Graham, you have a special talent in life, go make the most of it. Don’t be bum like your mates”.
They were the last words she ever said to me. She knew I was going out and doing all this partying. She was like: You’re better than that, you’ve got this talent, go and use it.
It was her husband’s brave move that led his team to secure their spot in World Cup.
Graham‘s brave move to replace the captain and goalkeeper Mathew Ryan with Andrew Redmayne for the penalty shootout against Peru led the team to secure their fifth consecutive World Cup.
Talking to ABC News (Australia), Graham revealed the reason behind his bold move.
He said he learned how substitution just before the end of the game could mentally affect the opposition or the penalty takers of the opposition, leaving them to wonder why they would do that.
When you are changing the goalkeeper in a minute to go or two minutes to go, they are probably asking the question, “why”? Mentally.
And at the same time, doing the wiggles and action on the goal line also took the penalty takers off.
He said he doesn’t think the opposition has seen a nut case like Andrew Redmayne do that type of thing before.
How many children does she have?
It is unknown how many children she has, but the couple has a daughter named Elissa, who is also famous as a celebrity wife.
Sarah and Graham’s daughter Elissa is married to Socceroos star Trent Sainsbury.
The couple married on the 28th of December, 2017, in Palm Beach after dating for six years. They are the parents of their two sons.
The net worth of Sarah Arnold is currently under review. As of now, we have the net worth of her husband, estimated to be $1 million - $5 million.
- Her spouse is 58 years old as of 2021.
