Sandra Janowski was famous as the ex-spouse of American guitarist, singer, and songwriter Ted Nugent.

She was married to Nugent for nearly a decade

Janowski married Nugent in the year 1970. 

Prior to their marriage, Nugent fathered two kids, a boy named Ted Mann Nad and a girl whom he gave for adoption when they were infants. 

The siblings were adopted separately. 

It was kept secret from the public until 2010, when Mann figured out who his biological father was via his daughter’s attempt to get into contact with Nugent. 

Besides that, Nugent publicly dated then-17-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa while he was still married to Janowski.

He denied everything that had been said of him and also that he made Courtney Love blow him when she was 12. He said he had never met Courtney Love.

Janowski and Nugent separated in early 1978 and divorced in 1979 after nine years of their marriage. 

During an interview with Rolling Stone in 1979, Nugent said he was getting divorced. 

“It’s sad, man, it’s a very sad thing, but I can’t talk about it,” he said at the time. 

She shared two children, a son Theodore Tobias and a daughter, with her ex-husband, Ted Nugent. 

At the time of their divorce, their daughter was five, while their son Toby was two years old.

She tragically died in a car accident

Janowski tragically died in a car accident three years after her divorce. 

She was involved in a fatal car accident in Jackson County, Michigan, on November 11, 1982. 

According to the sources, she was found to have been driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She was just 33 at the time.

According to Deziel, she didn’t even know his music when she met him, and music didn’t matter at all because, at the end of the day, they have to spend a lot of time together doing chores together, saying Nugent to be the master of chores. 

Deziel also recalled the exact date they first met. 

She said they first met on the 3rd of October, 1988, and their first date was on November 7, 1988. They got married two months after their first meeting.

The couple likes to keep things simple and stay grounded. They reside on a small ranch in Texas. They share a son Rocco Nugent who is an actor.
