Samantha Taylor is famous as a celebrity kid. She is the daughter of Hollywood actress Jennifer Taylor.

Jennifer almost quit acting 

There was a time when Jennifer was unable to decide which way to proceed. She was a struggling actor and was suffering financially. She was already married to her husband and when she had her first child. 

When they were about to lose their house, which was on the mortgage, their house, which they kept on the market, was not selling. 

So she had already made up her mind to finish her degree and move back to Florida from Los Angeles. She was already pregnant with Samantha, her second child. 

Seven days after she signed up for college to finish her degree, she landed a breakthrough role on CBC sitcom Two and a Half Man as Charlie Harper’s fiance, Chelsea. 

Before landing a lead role, she appeared in a recurring role in four previous episodes with three different characters.  After her career excelled, she also tried a hand on as a writer with a screenplay debut “Unfaithfully his.”

During an interview with Jeremy Roberts, Jennifer said that she sees a little bit of spark in Samantha becoming an actress, but she does not want to push her children towards acting until they are older and sure about what they want to do. 

If it’s acting, she will provide advice and encouragement without interfering, although she knows it’s difficult as a middle-class actor. 

Sibling

Samantha has an older brother Jake Taylor who is currently 16 years old. Samantha was just four months old while her brother was five years old on the first day of her shoot in 2008. 

They are currently residing with their parents in Los Angeles with their parents and pet dog named Buddy, who became part of the family in 2015.

Her mother, Jennifer, met her father, Paul, at a bar where her mother was a cocktail waitress, and her father worked as a bartender. 

She was 17 at the time but called herself 18 since that was the age that had to be in Florida to work in a bar. 

Both of them became good friends and eventually fell in love and started dating. They walked down the aisle in 1997 and are inseparable since then.

Jennifer knew early that Paul was meant to be her future husband

Jennifer knew quite early that Paul was meant to be her future husband, although Paul was quite confused as he kept on telling her that she was young. 

She was 17, and Paul was 21 at the time. During their dating years, they used to break-up once a year but never went more than a week without talking to each other. 

Many people misunderstood Paul as a songwriter, but actually, he is a union electrician.

They wedded in Catholic Church where they had to go through Pre-Cana, a procedure or compatibility test where you have to first visit the priest and fill the questionnaire separately.

They moved to Los Angeles from Florida after their wedding.
