Rose Gerardi Pacino

Rose Gerardi Pacino was famous as the mother of an Academy-award-winning actor and Filmmaker, Al Pacino. 

Rose was the daughter of Sicilian-born father James Gerardi and a New York-born mother, Kate Gerardi of Sicilian descent. 

Her parents were Italian immigrants from Corleone, Sicily.

An unsuccessful marriage

Rose was married to her husband Salvatore Pacino, who was from San Fratello, Sicily.
