Strained Relationship With The Coach

His wife was introduced to a tennis game when she was young. 

Her neighbor, Bill Kurtzman, encourage her to play Tennis. At that time, she used to live with her parents at Barellan. 

In the year 1965, proprietor of a tennis school in Sydney named Vic Edwards came along with his two assistants to see the potential of young girl Goolagong Cawley. 

After looking at her game, they were impressed by her. 

Vic Edwards immediately asked her parents to move to Sydney to begin her professional career. 

After so much of requesting, her parents agreed to move her to Sydney for her better future. 

There she attended the Willoughby Girls high school and got her college certificate in 1968. 

She used to live with Vic Edwards and his family. 

In between, Vic Edward also used to train her for Tennis, as he was the local guardian, coach and became her manager as well.

But later, his wife (Goolagong Cawley) revealed that she had a very strained relationship with her former coach Vic Edward, as he made sexual advances to her. 

As a local guardian and manager, he used to control all her finances and career choices as well.

Love Life Went Through A Tough Time

Roger Cawley and his wife met each other around 1971. 

Although there is no detailed information of how they met, since they both are in the sports field, they must have gotten to know each other through sports as his wife's coach (Vic Edward) used to control her every aspect of her life, which led to cause differences between them. 

They started having a tough time maintaining their relationship.

However, one day couple decided to end their differences and got married to each other on June 19, 1975, in London. 

After getting married to significant other, she ended all contacts with her Coach Vic Edwards. 

However, he remained an official coach for Wimbledon 1975.

The couple embraced parenthood after two years of their marriage. 

In 1977, May 12, his wife delivered a beautiful baby girl. The couple named their daughter Kelly Inalla. 

And following four years later, a healthy baby boy came into their life whom they called Morgan Cawley. 

Their son Morgan was a former national Soccer player.

All his children are grown-ups now and are married to their respective partners. 

The couple has become grandparents as well. 

The couple loves to babysit them and spending time with their grandchildren.
