Robin Stapler is a former British-American actress mainly famous as the ex-wife of American actor and comedian Alfonso Ribeiro.

She was married to Ribeiro for four years

Stapler first met Ribeiro in 1999 while filming the series "In the House." It was love at first sight for Ribeiro, and he didn't miss a chance to approach her on set. 

He asked her about her after plans before taking her to the dinner that evening. They started dating and got married in 2002. 

However, four years after their marriage, Ribeiro filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Stapler shares a daughter with her then-husband, Alfonso Ribeiro. They welcomed their only daughter, Sienna, on the 8th of October, 2002.

While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark, her father opened up about the incident that took place the day before Ava's fourth birthday. 

He revealed that Ava got injured and had to have emergency surgery after she fell and had a road rash on her face and arm. They had to scalpel off all the skin. 

He also revealed that his wife had the intuition that something wrong was going to happen to her and had asked everyone not to let Ava do anything that she could get hurt doing because she had a feeling that the daughter was going to the ER.

Two months later, during the same show, he gave an update on Ava about how she was doing after the scooter accident. 

He said Ava is doing much better, though she is not fully healed and that there is scarring a little bit of, and luckily, her face scar is the least of all of it.

Her ex-husband is currently married to Angela Unkrich. They have been married since October 2012, three months after their engagement. 

The couple told Yahoo Life that they first met at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, in 2011.

The following year, he was on a Pepsi commercial alongside Michael Jackson. He played a young street dancer.

He landed his first major TV role on the hit sitcom Silver Spoons in 1984. After the show ended in 1987, he took a break from acting to finish high school. 

After high school, he decided to give his full-time to acting. 

He did an episode of A Different World before landing a role in another hit NBC sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. 

The show ran for six seasons from 1990 to 1996. He also did a ton of work as a director after his notable role as Maxwell Stanton on In the House. 

He is currently hosting the 34th season of ABC's America's Funniest Home Videos.

Ribeiro, in an interview with The Ringer, said he has always done everything for him. 

Still, he recognizes that if it makes him happy, it will make other people happy, hopefully, and hopes that he has made people happy through his 40 years.
