His childhood

Le Normand was born in Pabu, near Guingamp. 

They lived in Mousteru for a while but he spent most of his childhood in Brehan alongside his brother and sister. 

His parents still reside there. Le Normand said his parents ran a bar before changing their careers. 

Both of his parents did a lot of things, particularly sports. His father was a football coach and ran marathons, and his mother played basketball. 

They were sports instructors at campsites where they mentored kids before he was born.

Le Normand said there was a rule in the family and that was no one could rest if the family wasn't doing so. 

They always had to lend a helping hand, do their homework correctly, and ensure their room was tidy.

His brother is also a professional footballer

Le Normand has a younger brother Theo who is in his footsteps. He is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Guingamp. 

Le Normand said he and his brother constantly challenged each other growing up and no matter what they played, there had to be a winner. 

They used to play many matches in their large garden where their father had built football goals. 

He also said that he never gave his brother a gift although he is four years older than him.

Born in France, he plays for Spain national team

Le Normand joined Brest Training Center and later represented Brest as a youth player before making his senior debut with the club starting with the reserve team in a 1-0 CFA 2 away loss against Lannion in September 2013. 

He made his professional debut on the 15th of April, 2016 in a League 2 match against Sochaux where they suffered a 2-1 away loss. 

In July of the same year, he joined Real Sociedad. 

In an interview, he said that he was ready physically but Brest had to consider that he was missing things and also maybe he didn't do what was necessary to be retained, or maybe that Brest, unlike Real Sociedad was unable to detect all his potential. 

He admitted to living a waking dream at Real Sociedad and that there is no better place in the world other than Real Sociedad to continue progressing.

After having spent in Spain for seven years, he was granted Spanish nationality i.e. he would be eligible to play for the national team. 

He was part of Spain's squad that won the UEFA Nations League in the same year. 

In an interview, Le Normand said his decision to play for the Spain national team came quickly after the manager Luis de la Fuente called him up. 

He thanked Real Sociedad for making it happen.

He also revealed that the France national team's manager Didier Deschamps asked him to represent his home country saying that he was looking at him and valued him but that didn't change anything in his head. 

Expressing his gratitude to Deschamps, he added that Spain was there for him from the first minute.

Who is his girlfriend?

There is a rumor of him dating PSG boss Luis Enrique's daughter Sira Martinez. However, the couple has not confirmed yet. 

Sira previously dated Le Normand's teammate from the national team Ferran Torres. They parted ways in May last year. 

According to the sources, Le Normand and Martinez were spotted cuddling and being affectionate with each other in Spain.
