Roberta Nurse is famous for being a wife to American basketball coach Nick Nurse. 

Nick is the head coach of the Toronto Raptors and Canada men's national basketball team. 

She is an athlete

Roberta is not only famous for being a celebrity spouse; she is a former FGCU athlete. 

Brazilian native Roberta is a former volleyball player and was named twice to the First Team All-Atlantic Sun Team. 

She contributed FGCU to two A-Sun conference titles. 

Later, she worked as an assistant women's volleyball coach at Winthrop University.  

She was hired as an assistant coach in June 2014 after her five seasons as an assistant coach with the Ocelots at the University of Texas, Brownsville.

He started his coaching career right after college at the age of 23, from where he began experimenting with different play styles. 

He spent his 11 years in Britain coaching, where he won two British Basketball League Championships(BBL) as a head coach. 

With 15 teams and four countries along the way, he made his place in the NBA in 2013 with the Raptors as an assistant coach under Dwane Casey. 

His dream of becoming an NBA head coach came true. He was promoted to head coach on the 14th of June, 2018. 

He led the Raptors to the 2019 NBA Finals and became the first head coach to win both the NBA and NBA G league titles. 

He was named the NBA coach of the year in his second season and became the household name.

A doting mom 

She is a mom to her two adorable sons Leo and Rocky Levi. 

The eldest son Leo was born on the 8th of February, 2017, while the younger ones on the 20th of May, 2019. 

Both of her children were born in Toronto. 

They hold Canadian passports. Nick is a father of three sons. He has one son from his previous relationship.
