Richie Palmer is an American actor who is best known as the ex-husband of famous American actress Raquel Welch. 

Richie was born on 12th October 1954 in New York City, New York, United States. 

He is best known for his roles in The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps (2000), Zigs (2001), and Malevolence (1999).

She was the firstborn of Armando Carlos Tejada Urquizo, who was an aeronautical engineer, and Josephine Sarah Hall. 

Her father was Bolivian born, and her mother was American in nationality. In her early years, Welch was not very fluent in Spanish. 

However, in her 70s, she articulated that she still felt very Hispanic.

Later Patrick accused Welch of cheating on her during her marriage with her Spanish co-star Sancho Gracia. 

Patrick also claimed that Raquel had undergone an abortion while they were still together. 

She later also dated the football player Joe Namath, the producer Robert Evans, and comedian Freddie Prinze. 

After that, on 5th July 1980, she tied the knot with producer Andre Weinfeld. The marriage fell apart in August 1990. 

She also got into a relationship with Gary Stretch in 1996. On 17th July 1999, she married Richie Palmer. Richie had a son from his previous marriage. 

The duo later separated and divorced in 2008. 

Later in an interview, she stated that she would no longer marry anyone and she was enough all by herself and did not need any man to make her feel happy in life.

Raquel was the happy mother of two kids, Damon and Tahnee Welch. She had them with her former partner James Welch.
