Alexandra was captured talking at the Annual Women event. Alexandra shared how she moved out to Los Angeles a decade ago. 

The actress says that she has seen more and more female representation now. She admitted that she had been inspired by a lot of these women on the cover. 

She feels wonderful to be part of all this. 

Furthermore, she tells that a society in general which is an absolutely true fact for men, also that we all have that tendency to push our emotions down or are told to push our emotions down in order to function which she thinks is the opposite of strength pointing out to be the most vulnerable to show how you are feeling about something and to discuss openly the things that are going on being all the things that we have been discussing over the last few years which is being able to be vulnerable with complicated issues, so Alexandra thinks it's very important for progress. 

Thinks we all are very nuanced and complicated, she added. Further adding, we humans don't make clear-cut decisions. 

Sometimes there aren't happy endings, at least not immediately, which she finds interesting about the roles she wanted to take and acting in general. 

Lastly, she feels very lucky to be a part of it. 

Was she the black sheep of the family?

Interview Magazine asked Alexandra a question regarding if she was considered the black sheep of the family while growing up. 

Alexandra, in response, said that her parents were both attorneys, and she had thought about her career in law during her upbringing. 

However, later her mom and dad had accepted the decision of pursuing acting instead. 

The actress even tells about her mom's earlier days as a model and presumes that it might be the reason for the support. 

Besides movies, the actress in real life also is involved in making a real difference. She portrayed the role of an activist to help several causes. 

On her birthday back in 2018, the actress poured her own time to help the United Nations Foundations and the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. 

She helped raise funds to provide the children with the diseases of mosquitos in Malawi, an African nation.
