Sommerfeld and Kaulitz dated for six years before getting married in 2015. It is reported that the ex-couple first met at a nightclub in 2009. 

However, their marriage was brief, as they got separated in 2016. Kaulitz later filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
