Ye, while appearing on Joe Rogan’s podcast, recalled how his father reacted when he first shared that he wanted to rap. 

He said his father was very leery of that idea. 

His father told him that he heard the business to be terrible, which according to him, is right, explaining that people are all seeing things that are wrong inside of contracts turning blind eyes to it in which everyone is responsible and is part of it. 

He said that he blames the loss of his mother partially on the entertainment industry.
