The devastating news surfaced on November 22, 2023, when his former bandmate and close friend Fat Joe posted a tribute and the news of Raul's demise on his Instagram, saying, My day 1, how can a man love another man more than your own biological family. 

Raul is 1 of 1 the most loyal EVER. They did it since they were kids they did everything they dreamed of. 

He loves Raul with every fiber in his body. He further added that Raul was sent by God and how he wished he got one last talk with Raul. 

He gave his condolences to the Conde family and also thanked them for letting them have him in their lives all these years. 

He is grateful for every moment he has had with his dear friend Raul. 

He also said he wanted everyone to pray for his safe passage to heaven and also revealed that Raul loved god so much. 

He ended the post by saying he loves Raul and till they meet again. DJ Khaled commented on the post, saying Love you forever, @raul.ts GOD BLESS YOU.

DJ Khaled also paid his tribute by posting a picture with his friend with a caption,

Erica also posted a video that consisted of many pictures of the moments they spent together and wrote a heartfelt message. 

She wrote he was the one who really put her in a position to win. 

From the moment he laid his eyes on her, he knew she would be the one that could and would. 

She thanked him from the bottom of her heart and credited him for everything she succeeded in her life. 

She was able to accomplish so many things in her life because of what he saw in her. 

She also thanked him for giving her such a beautiful human being and making her a mother. She also asked him to help her when she gets up there. 

She told him that their son, King, graduated this year. She asked him to guide her so she could do everything right. 

She also recalled her last moment with him, when they had a family dinner at Erica's house. 

Erica's babies called him Tio Raul. She is broken after knowing that was the last time she had dinner with him. 

She is grateful that he taught her to be grounded and reminded her who she is and for making her experience the true meaning of loyalty.
