He is currently linked to Newcastle to fill the place of Steve Bruce, who was sacked from the club.

A beautiful wedding ceremony in Italy

The couple had planned for an ideal romantic location halfway between their country Portugal and Ukraine so that their friends do not have to travel far.

They found Italy to be the best as the couple had already fallen in love with the country on their first visit and made their visit from time to time.

It was a romantic wedding ceremony at Villa Balbianello with the charismatic setting of Lake Como

Katerina is looking forward to celebrating one of their wedding anniversaries by the sea because she had dreamt of her big day to be by the sea.

He keeps himself up to date with the trending fashion

Fonseca is into fashion and loves to wear stylish clothes. According to him, he keeps an eye on the latest fashion trends.

Fashion is something that interests him, especially shoes. In this process, his spouse, an expert, also supports him by giving him advice.

His deal with Tottenham Spurs collapsed following the disagreement with Spurs managing director

Fonseca was close to signing Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, but the deal was later collapsed following the disagreement with Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici over tactics.

According to Fonseca, the agreement was done, and they were planning the pre-season player.

When the managing director Fabio Paratici came, things changed, and there was a conflict with some ideas.

As a coach, he has some coaching principles, and like everyone else, he wants to work for a great club, but above that, the right project and a club are most important.

He wanted people to believe in his idea and play style, but that did not happen with Paratici as he wanted a more defensive manager.

He was influential in shaping Josue’s football career

One of the proud moments for the coaches is when you become the influential factor for the players.

The Portuguese footballer Josue credits Fonseca for shaping his career, instilling in him the determination and faith in himself which he was lacking.

He was playing under Fonseca in Pacos de Ferreira in the 2012-13 season and was having a problem with the club at the time.

According to Josue, Fonseca put a condition that he will let him play on the weekend only if he follows his few things, to which Josue agreed.

Initially, Josue was not able to give more than the minimum, but Fonseca’s belief in him completely changed Josue’s life and career.

Fonseca did not give up on him and continued motivating him. When Josue heard the words “I believe in you” from his coach, which he had not even heard from his family members, he started believing in himself, realizing what he was capable of.

Those life-changing words transformed him to be a better player. His development from zero self-esteem to immense confidence is all because of Fonseca.

His obsession with Zorro

Born in Nampula, Mozambique, Fonseca grew up in poverty. He was 14 when his family moved to Barreiro, a city in Lisbon

While growing up, he was obsessed with the fictional character Zorro from the movie “The Mask of Zorro” and used to dress up like him as a kid.

Back in 2017, when he was at the helm of Shakhtar Donetsk, he had promised to dress like Zorro if he led his team to the last-16

His club finished the group stage in second after the 2-1 victory over Manchester City and reached the round of 16 of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League

As promised by him, he dressed up in Zorro for the press conference.
