Paul George Sr. is famous as the father of seven-time NBA All-star Paul George. George Sr. worked at Rim company and as a carpenter to sustain his family.

His wife Paulette once beat death. Paul was just six years old when she suffered a stroke that was triggered by two blood clots on her brain. 

The night at the hospital, she was declared to be dead twice, but with the grace of God, she revived. 

She was hospitalized for four months and had to be a stay-at-home parent for two years after getting partially paralyzed on her left side. 

It took her two years to walk, talk and see once again and to watch her struggle left a long-lasting impact on Paul Jr. 

According to him, it built him as a man, the character; the toughness was built in him, seeing how she worked to get through it. 

Now she is seen in the stands alongside Paul Sr., cheering for her son.

Parents of three athletic children

Paul and Paulette are the proud parents of their three athletic children, two daughters and a son. 

They delivered their first child, daughter Portala in the year 1984. She played Volleyball at CSU-San Bernardino. 

Their second daughter Teiosha who was born one year apart from her elder sister, played basketball at Pepperdine. 

Paul Jr. was born youngest on 2nd May 1990. It was his older sister Teiosha whom he looked up to during his initial days. 

He used to play with his sister before his freshman year in high school. Paul and Paulette are already the grandparents of their five grandkids. 

Three of the grandkids were born to their daughter Portala while two are of Paul. Teiosha walked down the aisle with the man of her dream in August 2019.

In November 2017, the couple became parents of their second daughter Natasha, and Paul was previously in a relationship with Callie Rivers, daughter of former head coach of Clippers, Doc Rivers.

Paul proposed to Daniela in November 2020, to which she said yes. They shared the happy news via Instagram.
