Patrick Michael James Sajak is famous as a celebrity kid. He is the son of a famous American television personality and game show host, Pat Sajak. 

Patrick is a doctor by profession.

Patrick insists on being called Dr. Sajak

His father was on his show Game of Fortune back in June 2021 and asked his co-host, Vanna White, if he could do parental bragging on the show. 

He announced Patrick made it through medical school and is now officially Dr. Sajak, and they are thrilled about that. 

With that, he also said the only troubling part is that Patrick insists that he call him Dr. Sajak. He jokingly added that he tried to get him to geriatrics, but he refused. 

He couldn't be prouder of Patrick and congratulated him for his achievement.

His parents have been in marital bliss for more than three decades

His father was previously married to Sherrill Sajak between 1979 and 1986 before he met his mom Lesly Brown, a photographer and former playboy model. 

They first met through a mutual friend at the restaurant opening in Irvine, California, in 1988. 

They walked down the aisle the following year in a 40-minute ceremony in a Roman Catholic church in Annapolis, Maryland. 

The couple is still together with no signs of divorce.

His father underwent emergency life and death surgery in 2019

Pat underwent life-threatening emergency surgery back in October 2019. 

Sajak opened up with ABC news about what actually happened that led him to the surgery. 

According to him, after returning from the early morning walk, he was getting ready for his work when he suddenly had horrific pain in his stomach. 

Within two and a half hours, he was in surgery caused by an intestinal blockage. 

Sajak said the intestine can sometimes get tangled up with each other and then start working against each other, killing tissue, and if not dealt with it quickly, they would kill enough tissues that eventually could kill people. 

Sajak said it was tough for his daughter and wife, who at the time were with him, not knowing if he would come out. 

He described the pain to be excruciating. He was in a fetal position, unable to do anything, and even the drugs used for pain were not working. 

He recalled the doctor giving him something of which he could not remember the name, but after that, he was no more thinking about the pain. 

There were pastels and loving faces coming out of it, and in the background heard his wife and daughter talking, who was right next to him but seemed like they were a mile off. 

He remembered thinking that it must be what death was like. At the time, he didn't feel bad for dying but bad for his family about dealing with the aftermath.

Incredibly close to his celebrity sister

Patrick has a younger sister Maggie Sajak who is a country music singer. 

The siblings are incredibly close to each other and are proud of each other for their accomplishments in their respective fields. 

Maggie took her Instagram to share how proud she is of her brother for his accomplishment. 

Posting the picture of themselves on her Instagram in May 2021, she shared that her brother officially became a doctor and that she is the proudest and congratulated him.
