She soon moved in with Bennett in New York, where she worked as a broker.
In his book, Bennett wrote that he surprised Patricia by announcing his intention to the world and was fortunate that she wanted to marry him as much as he wanted to marry her.
The couple got married on the 12th of February, 1952.
Fans were not happy about their marriage as they mourned
Bennett was a heartthrob, and when he announced his intentions, his fans were not happy, including his then-manager Ray Muscarella, who attempted to sabotage their marriage.
There were two thousand female fans all dressed in black outside their ceremony at St. Cathedral in Manhattan, New York, in mock mourning.
However, the couple’s marriage started to hit a rocky path as Bennett’s career heightened, and he started spending much of his time on the road.
Not only that, there was a rumor of his affair with an actress, and Beech filed for divorce amid the rumor.
She sued for divorce on the grounds of adultery in 1969. Their divorce was finalized two years later.
The couple had two sons
From their marriage union, they gave birth to their two sons.
Their older son, D’Andrea “Danny,” was born on the 3rd of February, 1954, while their other son, Daegal “Dae”, was born a year later.

Danny was the one who helped his father revive his career after a series of financial and substance abuse struggles in the late 70s.
Danny, in an interview with the New York Times in 1999, recalled his father calling him one day after he was unable to process that the IRS was planning to seize his house and was rushed to the hospital.
“That was the day of reckoning. That is when he called me up. I think that was a desperate move, he told the New York Times.
During the same interview, Bennett also expressed how fortunate he was to have someone in Danny for truly looking out for his best interests and not just in it for money.
Danny helped his father’s previous manager prove wrong, who said that he would never be able to pull out of it as long as he lived since he owed so much money.

However, the pair separated in 1983. Grant, in a 2007 interview with Page Six, said that her divorce from Tony was not finalized until a few months back.
He then began a long-term romantic relationship with former New York City school teacher Susan Crow, who later became his third and last wife.
The couple married in a private ceremony in June 2007. Despite their 40-year age gap, Crow was by his side until his death in July 2023.
