Press and Musser dated for six years before getting engaged last year. It is not known how they first met, but they were head over heels in love.
The couple were the parents of their two dogs, Rue and Calle.
She described Musser to be the best fiancé
Musser sadly passed away on the 13th of January, 2024, at the age of 50, at his home in Del Mar, California. The cause of his death is not disclosed yet.
Press took to her Instagram Account on Saturday, 13th January 2024, to announce the tragic news of Musser’s demise.
In a heartfelt post with the picture alongside her Instagram stories, she wrote, “RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you”.
She posted a series of pictures of them reminiscing the time they had spent together.
In one of the pictures where he is seen surprising her with matching Mercedes-Benz G-class SUVs, she wrote that he was the best fiancé she could ever ask for and that she doesn’t think she can drive her g wagon anymore.
“Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy”, she wrote in another picture.
Besides that, she also complimented him on being the best dad and that Rue would never stop loving her dad.
Similarly, American actor and comedian Adam Sandler, with whom Musser collaborated in the 2010 film “Grown Ups,” expressed his heartfelt condolence via his Twitter account that he loved Musser and cannot believe that he is no more.
He also described him to be a wonderful, funny good man and a true great sweetheart of a person.
Musser on his journey to acting and modeling career
Musser had a successful modeling career working with GQ, Cosmopolitan, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc.
According to Musser, modeling was not something he considered because he was too focused on trying to chase surf and snow.
After graduating from the University of San Diego, he worked with the professional ski patrol at Mammoth Mountain.
It sort of happened organically after he was scouted by an agent one day while he was walking on the beach. He said modeling for him started in the off-season.
He was working on Ski patrol in the winters, and during summers and spring, he was working in Southern California.
One normal day, as he was kicking around the beaches, a man went up to him and asked if he wanted to do modeling.
He then met with their agents and was then shooting at Miami. And the rest is history.
Talking about his acting career, he said it became through commercials.
After doing some of the commercials, he got a taste of acting and ended up doing a reality series called “I Want to be a soap star.”
He ended up winning the show after which he got a 15-week contract on “All My Children”, in New York which was later extended for two and a half years.
