When asked about the secret to a happy and successful marriage, Morris said aside from luck, he truly believes his wife to be an incredible person, and they communicate, which according to him, is the key to a relationship. 

Communicating is a hard thing to do because sometimes she wants to communicate, and sometimes she wants him to listen. 

He always tries to figure things out, and then sometimes she just wants him to listen to what her problem is, and he just listens, he explained.

She has an older brother

Paige has an older brother Grant Chestnut who is a year older than her.

Her father spoke on the allegations of being a deadbeat father

Back in January 2016, then 27-year-old Dante Lamont Chestnut took to his Facebook account and claimed Morris Chestnut to be his father. 

He also alleged him of being a deadbeat father. According to him, Morris and his mother were together before Boyz In The Hood. 

But as he rose to fame from Boyz In The Hood, he left his then family for the new one, he said.

Morris, while appearing on The Breakfast Club, spoke about the allegations and explained what really happened. 

According to him, he was 17 years old when he had a consensual friendship with someone, but it wasn't a relationship. They never went on dates. 

Later, she went up to him and said she was pregnant. He stepped up to take the responsibility. He was 18 at the time.

Morris said he doesn't find fault in Dante for whatever he is saying because that's what he had been told all his life, and it's a lie told by his mother. 

And his saying that he left and got another family after Boys In The Hood came out was not what really happened. 

But basically, what happened was that she put the baby on him, and he tried setting things up and doing the right things. 

They were together for the wrong reasons. They tried to make it work but were together, breaking up, together, breaking up, he explained. 

They finally put to an end instead of being a regular breakup after the movie came out, after which he got hit with a paternity test.

From the paternity test, it was revealed that he was not the father. Dante was three when the results came out. 

Morris said he blames her for making up stories and brainwashing Dante because she has been telling kinds of stuff on the internet. 

He also said that he told her to name the father of her son so that they could build a relationship, but that didn't happen. 

Dante was nine years old when he was confronted with the truth. Morris himself told him that he was not his father.
