Oliver Mustafa Oz

Oliver Mustafa Oz is the son of Mehmet Oz, professionally known as Dr. Oz, a Turkish-American television personality, author, and retired cardiothoracic surgeon. 

His mother, Lisa Oz, is an author and a television personality. 

Oliver is a student at Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, the medical school of Columbia University. 

He also likes to describe himself as a novice farmer and a novice fisherman.

Mehmet and Lisa's marriage was a sort of arranged marriage. They were first introduced through their fathers, who were close friends. 

Talking with Yahoo Life about their love story, they said their fathers were having dinner together and invited them. 

At first, Lisa thought Mehmet was a maitre d' and was like, "O, that waiter is so hot." 

She said Mehmet didn't talk to her throughout the whole dinner but instead was talking to her mom, to which Mehmet explained saying he realized at the time that if he got her mom to buy into him as a reasonable suitor, he could get Lisa to come on a date with him. 

Mehmet said then he had to call her and ask if she wanted to go out next week, to which Lisa replied yes if he didn't have any other dates because she was only dating him if he was not dating anyone else. 

Mehmet initially thought it was a clingy move pulled by Lisa. 

Mehmet and Lisa's first date was a sort of disaster. He took Lisa to Pat's Steakhouse for their first date, but he was unaware that Lisa was a vegetarian. 

But Lisa appreciating his effort, said she was a vegetarian. 

Seven months after dating, they got into a big fight, but that fight at the time was good for them in the long run as Mehmet realized that Lisa was someone he couldn't live without. 

So Mehmet went searching for Lisa on the streets and hurriedly took a bottle tab that was lying on the road and presented it to her and said he would make something out of them and let him marry her.

Mehmet and Lisa have been married for 37 years, and still today, they look like a newly married couple. 

And the secret to their successful marriage is they never get bored of each other and do not take one another for granted.
