Noble Herman Stephens is best known as the ex-husband of popular actress Stella Stevens.

Noble was born in Mississippi, Southern United States. He is an electrician. He was married to the actress Stella in 1954

Stella gave birth to a son, Andrew Stevens on 10th June 1955. Later in 1957, the pair went separate ways and got divorced.

She got her formal education from Memphis State University. She is an America-based actress, model, film producer, director, and writer. 

She has starred in famous movies like Girls! Girls! Girls!, The Nutty Professor, The Silencers, Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows, etc

She has also acted in TV series like Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Bonanza, etc. 

She first entered in Hollywood industry by featuring in the movie Say One For Me in 1959

Just a year later in 1960, she won the Golden Globe Award for “New Star of the Year.”


While she was getting her education at Memphis State University, her interest in acting and modeling sparked in her. 

She had participated in various plays until one day her work in her college production of William Inge’s Bus Stop” was noticed by a local journalist, Edwin Howard

Stella’s performance was reviewed in the local newspaper which earned her a movie audition in New York. 


On 3rd December 1954, at the small age of 16, Stella dropped out of high school and married electrician Noble Herman Stephens in Holy Springs, Mississippi. 

They divorced in 1957. The couple had a son Herman Andrew Stephans

Later in 1983, she got into a committed long-term relationship with American guitarist Bob Kulick

They were still dating when Bob died due to a heart attack on 28th May 2020

After a year of their relationship, Bob moved in with Stella in her Beverly Hill home. 

Later in March 2016, they sold the house and Stella moved to a long-term Alzheimer’s care facility in Los Angeles. Bob paid her a visit time and again.

The star recently died on 17th February 2023 in Los Angeles at the age of 84

Her son informed that she was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for quite some time. 

Her long-term partner Bob’s brother Bruce tweeted about her death and quoted, 

“She is finally reunited with Bob today.”


Andrew is the only child of late actress Stella and her ex-husband Noble

He was born in 1955 after a year of their marriage in Memphis, Tennessee. Now, Herman is a celebrated executive, movie producer, director, writer, and actor. 

He is an example of a truly versatile artist and has contributed to many areas of the American movie industry.

He has starred in movies like Shampoo, Las Vegas Lady, Massacre at Central High, the Bastard, The Fury, The Seduction, Munchie, Stranded, Black dawn, Missionary Man, etc. 

Steven tied the know with Kate Jackson in 1978 and got divorced in 1980. Then, he wedded Robyn Suzanne Scott in 1995 and separated in 2010

Then he was married to Diana Phillips Hoogland from 2016 to 2018. He has three children with Robyn.
