Nick Pope, full name Nicholas David Pope, is a professional football player from England who is one of the best goalkeepers for Premier League club Burnley and the national team of England. 

He was born to his mother, Bridget Pope, and his father, David Pope. He is an English citizen from England.

He didn't like to see the games with his parents too.  When his parents used to take him to the training, Nick said he hates football and was not coming while hiding under the bed. 

But when Nick was seven years old, his parents insured him as the season ticket holder of the Ipswich F.C. 

Later all of a sudden, when he thought of himself playing for the club, The Blues, under-sevens, he made up his goal to take it to something big in the game. 

Rise to fame:

He started the journey of his career at the age of 16 by joining the youth academy of Ipswich Town. 

At first, that club didn't believe in him. Later he was released, and he joined another club named the youth side of Bury Town. 

Then later, he was given a contract of three years to sign by Premier League Club Burnley. 

His gameplay was so strong that even the national team of England kept him in the team.

Successful Knee Surgery:

Nick suffered from a knee injury so, he had knee surgery. 

His surgery was a success but due to the injury, he was not selected in Gareth Southgate's Euro 2020 squad. 

It was heartbreaking for Nick to have an injury during the time of one of the big tournaments.

Nick Pope is dating his girlfriend, Shannon Horlock, who is the daughter of Kevin Horlock, former midfielder of Manchester City. 

Nick celebrated his victory with his girlfriend, Shannon Horlock, after defeating Columbia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
