Nat is a married man. 

He is a husband to beautiful wife Meaghan Gadd. Her father is a legendary drummer Steve Gadd who is known for his collaboration with different famous artists such as Steely Dan and Eric Clapton.

He is the voice of Mr. Benjamin Krupp and Captain Underpants in the American animated web TV series The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. Mat replaced Ed Helms, who did the voice of the characters in the movies.

Mat has also won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for co-writing the movie The Descendants. He also got nominated for 22 awards for the movie and won 10 awards. 

The movie also won Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and two Golden Globe Awards for Best Picture-Drama and Best Actor-Drama for George Clooney.

Nat also won News Beach Film Festival Audience Award for the category Feature Film for the movie The Way, Way Back. And also, I was nominated for other three awards for the same film.
