Morgan Harvey rose to fame as a stepdaughter of famous television personality and Award-winning talk show host Steve Harvey. She has established herself as a food blogger and cookbook author. 

She is the creator of "I need some Mo," a kitchen hacks and recipes blog. She is also an author of her e-book Party Heart.

Married to her high-school sweetheart

Morgan is happily married to her high-school sweetheart, Kareem Hawthorne, a DJ by profession. 

They first met in 2006 when she was a participant in Miss Black and Gold Pageant organized by Kareem's Fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha at Morehouse.

For the first time, she took her then-two-year-old daughter Elle to her father's show in 2017. They talked about Elle's 2nd birthday celebration. 

Morgan confessed to making the whole family involved during the birthday party where everyone helped with the preparation and said she used grandmother's recipes in the strawberry cake. 

Besides that, Morgan came up with simple party "cheats" to help one of the moms in Atlanta to plan a joint party for their two kids whose birthdays fell in the same week.
