When an interviewer asked Mohammed whether he joined Qatar national team to get financially motivated, he said he didn’t play football for a good financial status. 

Mohammed said that he never compared football with money or finances as his first reason was he loved playing football, and secondly, he wanted to take care of the people he loved the most. 

He said no one knew about the end, so he might join the Ghana national team

Will Mohammed Muntari appear in FIFA World Cup 2022?

As the Qatar national team is the host, they will also be playing in FIFA World Cup 2022

Mohammed will be serving the respective national team from the position of forward. 

He will be playing his first world cup because it’s the first time ever that Qatar qualified for the FIFA World Cup.

Mohammed's opinion about playing World Cup from a different nation

Playing in the world cup will be a big honor for Mohammed. It was a little bit sad for him because he couldn’t play for his homeland's national team. 

Mohammed said it would be awesome to represent a country in the World Cup, but it wouldn’t be as best to represent Ghana

Aside from Ghana, it feels proud for Mohammed to say that Qatar is also his country because they gave him a chance to play World Cup which was a big honor for him. 

He said that Qatar national team gave him huge respect and took care of him, although he didn’t use to belong to Qatar, so it became a great responsibility for him to serve the national team well.
