So, Jemaine says that he did the voice of Tamatoa. He also shared saying that those individuals didn’t understand what he was saying, so they asked if he could make an impression? 

He clarified that they didn’t know what he meant. Further, he tried to make them understand and suggested looking up IMDb and looking at Moana. 

Jemaine further added that he is the guy who does the voice.
