Mike Broox is famous as a celebrity brother. He is the brother of American professional wrestler and actor CM Punk.

About his parents 

Mike was born to a housewife mother and an engineer father. Mike is the older brother of CM. 

His brother, in an interview, said their father drank too much, which led him to become straight-edge at an early age, and that he didn't have a close bond with his mother because she was too strict and harsh. 

He also said that wrestling was never allowed in their house because she believed it would lead to her sons becoming criminals. 

Mike and his brother share the same parents. 

They were raised alongside his other four siblings, three sisters, including younger sister Shaleen Lee Brooks, and a brother.

Broox and his brother both loved wrestling from their teenage and decided to make their own league and started Lunatic Wrestling Federations in one of their parent's backyards. 

His brother adopted the ring name CM Punk when he was put into a tag team named The Chick Magnets alongside his tag team partner, CM Venom. 

People started to show up, and the federations took off, after which they moved out of the backyard and started in a rented gymnasium. 

They started making money. 

Mike and his brother's relationship came to an end after his brother discovered that he had stolen thousands of dollars. 

While other original LWF members eventually forgave Mike, his brother didn't. He never talked to him again from that day. 

His brother, during an interview with the Chicago Tribune back in 2012, said he has two sisters and a brother by blood and that he talked to his sisters but has not talked to his brothers in like ten years. 

He also said that he always had to outsource for support or anything, and the people who were willing to support him with open arms weren’t blood to him, so he doesn’t believe one has to be blood to be a family. 

“So like my Mom, my Dad, my brother ever did to me was steal a (crap) load of money from me, he added. 

He admitted to stealing money from his brother 

Mike admitted to stealing money from his brother while appearing in an interview. According to him, it was around 2000 that everything sort of fell apart. 

“Yeah, man, I made a real f*cking big boo boo. A big mistake in my life was taking some money that did not necessarily belong to me. It’s something that trailed my life from that point forward to this point”, he said. 

He then went on to say that it’s something that he doesn’t go without thinking about and looking at the effects it had on his family and his friends and that he can’t say I am sorry enough other than just trying to live the rest of his life in a better way. 

He also clarified that what people didn’t hear was that he paid the money back, explaining that there was no defending the actual mistake. 

“When you make a mistake, you try to make it right, he said. 

Mike claimed that he paid the money back not to any one individual but to the company as he never took the money from them.
