He has been working for Ridge Real Estate Partner since January 2022. 

He worked for Deutsche Banc Alex as a financial analyst from June 2000 to April 2002.

Then, he joined Carlyle's US Real Estate Group as the global partner/managing director responsible for overseeing all aspects of real estate investments in New York and Boston in May 2002 and worked there until December 2021. 

While working for Carlyle's US Real Estate Group, he was successful in making a transaction of 3 billion dollars for the company. 

He has more than two decades of experience in real estate investments across property, including multifamily, industrial, and life science sectors. 

Married life

Michael David Gershenson has been happily married to Kate Bolduan for more than a decade. 

They started dating in 2005 and exchanged wedding vows on May 30, 2010.

His mother-in-law was sentenced to a year in prison

The shocking news surfaced in May 2013. 

A Chevrolet Avalanche collided head-on with a Buick LeSabre just outside Goshen, Indiana, on May 31, 2013, around 2 pm. 

After the police investigation, it was found that the parties involved in the accident were Nadine Bolduan and Paul Fought. 

Paul was heading home from work when his car was hit. 

The victim, Paul Fought, had suffered a concussion, three brain bleeds, and several broken bones in his legs and arms as a result of the accident. 

The cause of the accident was alcohol consumption. Nadine's blood-alcohol level was over the legal limit. 

His mother-in-law, Nadine Bolduan, was then sentenced to a year in prison for nearly killing a man after crashing into him while she was drunk driving. 

Kate was not present at the court when her mother received her sentencing. 

Kate's father, Dr. Jeffrey Bolduan, testified on behalf of her mother after she pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle under the influence. 

Nadine cried after hearing her sentence and asked Paul for forgiveness. Nadine also lost her driver's license for five years after she got out of prison.

However, this was not the first time she got into trouble. 

In 1995, Nadine was charged with reckless homicide. 

Bolduans were racing with their jet skis in between two boats, and they hit the inner tube the girls were riding. 

Her jet ski had struck two children, leading to the death of a nine-year-old girl named Elizabeth Leman and injuring a ten-year-old Christa Konarski. 

The charges were dismissed at the time as the prosecutor believed the actions were negligent rather than recklessness. 

But when the case went to civil court, Nadine and her husband were ordered to pay more than 1 million dollars to the Konarski family.
